Mining Engineering Research Group is one of the Research Groups in charge of managing the Mining Engineering Study Program, along with the Earth Resources Exploration Research Group. Mining Engineering Research Group has the following vision, mission, and objectives.

“Conducting education, research, and community service activities in the field of mining engineering to produce open pit and underground mining operations that are safe, environmentally sound, and provide optimal benefits.”

“Creating, sharing, and applying knowledge in the field of mining and producing superior mining human resources to support the advancement of national development from the mining sector.”
Policy Direction and Strategy
The Policy and Strategy of FTTM-ITB Mining Engineering Group follows the framework in the form of the main objectives of the Mining Engineering Group in accordance with the Tri Dharma of Higher Education supported by Human Resources, Facilities and Infrastructure, and Organization as shown in the figure below.
